The Capricornian was ecstatic to support the Fitzroy Frogs for the third year in a row, providing corporate sponsorship and staff volunteers for the aptly named ‘The Capricornian Rocky Triathlon’, held on 26 March 2023.
The Fitzroy Frogs Triathlon motto – “Reasons are Personal, Effort is Shared, Results are Celebrated”, is a great representation of the event’s aim to encourage women, juniors and all abilities to participate.
Whether you’re a beginner that’s still learning the steps of endurance multisport races or an intermediate athlete, there is a strong focus on empowering participants in a supportive environment.
The event consists of Triathlon (swimming, cycling and running), Duathlon (running and cycling) or Aquathon (swimming and running) options with ‘Sprint’ and ‘Enticer’ distance options to cater for all fitness levels.
