Supporting Local Style at the Springsure Cup
The Capricornian was proud to support the Springsure Cup Races on 30 August 2025, celebrating one of Central Queensland’s favourite community events.
As part of Fashions in the Field, we sponsored the Best Millinery category, recognising creativity, elegance, and local flair. Congratulations to this year’s winner, who received a $150 cheque proudly presented by The Capricornian!
Events like the Springsure Cup bring our communities together, and we’re delighted to play a small part in the fun, fashion, and country spirit that make days like these so special.
Supporting the Arts: Rockhampton Symphony Orchestra
As a Platinum Sponsor of the Rockhampton Symphony Orchestra, The Capricornian was proud to be recognised at their recent Celtic Vibes performance at the Pilbeam Theatre in June.
During the event, our CEO had the honour of addressing the audience and announcing The Capricornian’s continuing sponsorship commitment for FY 2025–28.

Celebrating Community at the Capella & District Show
We were proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the Capella & District Show Society, supporting the 64th annual Capella Show, held on Friday 23 May 2025.
Representing The Capricornian on the day were members of our Central Highlands team, Jo and Naiya, who joined locals and visitors alike in celebrating everything that makes the Capella community so special. From agricultural exhibits to family-friendly entertainment, the show was a fantastic showcase of local talent, tradition and community spirit.
