VISA system issue impacting PIN transactions

The Capricornian have been informed by our partners at VISA that a VISA system issue is currently impacting transactions, when using payment terminals that require you to enter a PIN.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may of caused and assure you that VISA is working quickly to resolve the issue.
ATM’s and Online transactions are functioning as normal.
We can also offer the following transaction methods that will ensure your transactions process successfully (until the VISA PIN issues is resolved):
- Use payWave for transactions under $100 – $200 (as long as NOT requiring PIN)
- Select SAVINGS or CHEQUE as the transaction option instead of VISA CREDIT and then enter your PIN.
