Interrupted access to card transactions

The Capricornian is undertaking a scheduled change to our card processing system. We are currently experiencing periods of interrupted access to Capricornian card transactions, including at EFTPOS, VISA terminals. ATM transactions appear to be functioning.
It appears to be the VISA channel and PIN function incurring some reported issues. If using a payment terminal the following transaction methods are processing successfully:
- ALL payWave transaction under $100 – $200 (as long as NOT requiring PIN)
- All transaction using PIN where EFTPOS is selected or Savings is selected, instead of VISA.
We aim to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible. In the mean-time you can also access funds by;
- Visiting your nearest Capricornian branch
- Transferring funds to an account at another financial institution (either your account or to a friend or family member who can offer assistance). The fastest way to do this is through Online Banking or the Cap App via OSKO transfer.
