Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance
Comprehensive Motorcycle Insurance covers your motorcycle for things such as accidental damage, collision or crash, fire, flood, storm, theft or attempted theft, vandalism or a malicious act.
CGU also covers any licensed rider who rides your motorcycle, even if they’re not listed on your policy1.
Collision or crash
Cover your motorbike for loss or damage resulting from collisions or crashes.
Accidental damage
Cover your motorbike for loss or damage caused by accidental damage.
Theft, attempted theft and vandalism
Cover for your motorcycle if it’s stolen, vandalised or accidentally damaged.
Fire, storm, flood and earthquake
You’re covered if your motorcycle is damaged by fire, storm, flood or earthquake.
New replacement
If your bike’s written off in its first two years, CGU tries to replace it with a similar new bike.
Liability cover
CGU covers your legal liability in certain situations if someone’s property’s damaged by your motorcycle (up to $20m).
Helmet replacement
If your helmet is damaged in a covered incident, we will pay for the cost to replace it.
Hire car up to $75 a day for up to 21 days
Add an option to hire a car after an incident CGU covers, up to $75 a day for up to 21 days.
Protective clothing
If your protective clothing is stolen from your motorcycle or damaged in an incident CGU covers, we will pay the cost to replace them.
