Financial Hardship Notification

Please note: Should a holiday repayment on your loan be approved, interest on your loan will continue to be charged during this period. This interest will be capitalised on your existing loan amount at the end of the repayment holiday period and your future repayments will be recalculated over the remaining term of the loan. This may result in your repayments increasing for the remainder of your loan term.

Coronavirus SME Guarantee Scheme

As recently announced by the Australian Government, in support of Small to Medium Business Enterprises (SME), The Capricornian is an approved participant in the scheme, and can assist both our existing as well as new business members who have been impacted by COVID-19.

Under the scheme, the Government will guarantee 50 percent of new loans issued by eligible lenders to SMEs with a turnover of up to $50 million. This includes loans to eligible sole traders and not-for-profits. Loans will be up to a period of three years, with no repayments required for six months*.

We know that many of our business members are feeling the impacts of COVID-19 and may need help to reduce the pressure on cash flow within their business. We have the opportunity to provide support, with access to a new business loan.
